A frequent request from our colleagues is to summarize the best strategies for improving the rank of their universities. The answer is pretty simply: Contents (1), contents (2) and contents (3). First one refers to the amount of contents, increasing their volume by transferring all the information related to the university to its websites. The second one relates to quality contents, basically setting up an open institutional repository for the scientific papers, doctoral dissertations, book chapters, slide presentations and other similar documents.
Finally, the third one is about international contents, making available most of the webpages also in English, besides the local language.
